Press Release on the Issue of TRY 200 Banknotes of E9 Series, Version VII 

As per the authorization given to the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye by Law No. 1211, the E9 series, version VII banknotes in denomination of TRY 200 will be put into circulation as of 7 December 2023.

Compared to TRY 200 banknotes of E9 series in circulation, the signatures on TRY 200 banknotes of version VII have been rearranged to include signatures of Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan, Ph.D. and Deputy Governor Osman Cevdet Akçay, Ph.D. 

Except for the signatures, the new banknotes will be identical to its previous versions with regard to their dimensions, obverse and reverse compositions, general features and appearances. 

All versions of TRY 200 banknotes will be in circulation concurrently.
