The CBRT initiates a platform where central banks point out their country specific and regional conditions individually, but then participate in finding possible solutions and ways to overcome destructive effects of regional and/or global fragilities with a special focus on central banking business areas. To this aim, the CBRT introduces “Regional Central Banking Seminar (RCBS)”. The theme of the 1st Regional Central Banking Seminar is central bank communication with a special emphasis on the challenges posed by unconventional monetary policies and changing technology. 

“Central Banking Seminar on Communication: How to keep up with the latest trends” was held on 7-9 September 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey and was chaired by the CBRT to share central banks’ experiences on the mentioned topic, with a special emphasis on how to transform the communication strategies in changing economic outlook. The Seminar brought together the employees of communication units of the Central Banks of Eastern Europe, Balkans and Black Sea.
