Governor Erdem Başçı delivered a presentation in Ankara.
Governor Erdem Başçı delivered a presentation to the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Wednesday, 23 July 2014 at 12:00 hours.
Governor Başçı emphasized the following points:
- The pace of the GDP growth is around 4 percent.
- Structural reforms in the 10th Development Plan would contribute to a more balanced and stable growth in Turkey.
- The improvement in the current account deficit is expected to continue.
- Elevated food prices have been the main factor limiting the pace of decline in inflation.
