Press Release on Revision of Participant List of the Survey of Market Participants

The CBRT has decided to revise the list of participants of its Survey of Market Participants, which intends to monitor the expectations of decision-makers and experts in the financial and real sectors regarding various macroeconomic variables. The aim of this revision is to enhance the representativeness of the survey. The first survey with the new list of participants will be conducted in October 2023 and the results will be published on 20 October 2023. To ensure continuity of participation, only institutional participants are included. The selection of institutions is based on the following objective criteria: asset size for banks, asset/portfolio size for intermediary institutions, portfolio investment size in Türkiye for non-resident banks, and asset/turnover size at sector level for non-financial sector firms.
