Press Release on Revision of Publication Time of Monthly Price Developments Report

Technical consultation group meetings between the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) and the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) regarding the production of seasonally adjusted CPI and special CPI aggregates have been finalized. TURKSTAT has announced that it will publish the relevant indicators on its website at 4 p.m., one working day after the CPI bulletin is published each month. 

To make use of these seasonally adjusted data, the publication time of the CBRT’s Monthly Price Developments Report, which was previously 10 a.m., has been revised as 6 p.m. on the first working day following the release of official price statistics. Accordingly, the first Monthly Price Developments Report using the seasonally adjusted data released by TURKSTAT will be published on October 4, 2024, at 6 p.m.
