Press Release on Payment and Electronic Money Institution Account Holder Inquiry Service

Pursuant to Law No. 6493, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) is responsible for the regulation and supervision of the payments area and undertakes activities to ensure its secure, uninterrupted, effective and efficient functioning.

Accordingly, the CBRT, upon collaborating with related stakeholders, has developed the “Payment and Electronic Money Institution Account Holder Inquiry” service.

Through this service available on the e-Government Gateway (e-Devlet Kapısı), real persons will be able to access information about which payment and electronic money institutions they hold accounts with. They will also be able to use this service on behalf of deceased persons to whom they are heirs.

The “Payment Services” section of the CBRT's official website provides up-to-date information on authorized payment and electronic money institutions.
